Maths DLO!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!

Today I am going to be sharing a DLO that I made and it is about Maths. What I had to do was pick 2 things or more that I learnt for Maths for the past 5 weeks and I kind of had present it. I made this for something else but I just decided to blog about it too. I tried to make everything very bold and colourful. What do you think?

Something that I kind of found hard was maybe copying and pasting things and editing the size to make it right because I had to do that a lot of times. Before this, I was making a video but it took a long time so I just made this instead. I also made the presentation different at first too but then I changed it to this.

DLO about percentages!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!

Today I am going to be sharing a DLO which I have made. It is a math DLO and the main thing that I will be teaching you is how to turn a fraction into a decimal! If I was honest with you then I would say that I did struggle a bit with the percentages and there were some Khan Academy Video's and some other videos that taught us. I learnt how to do some of them but not all of them because some of them just made me even more confused.

After some time, I finally finished everything and the only thing that was left was to do a DLO so I just did it as my blog post since I hadn't finished cause you gotta work smarter, not harder as my teachers say.

What are similes, metaphors and personification?

Today I am going to be sharing with a poster that we had to make for writing today. For the next couple of weeks, we are going to be doing work around description and we were learning about Similes, metaphors and personification.

First we learnt what they were and had some examples, then we had to write our own sentences to based on a storm. We had to go with our editing partners and mine is Julia and we had to write sentences along with the others. I think that the sentences we made were pretty awesome but we rubbed them out so we don't remember what we wrote.

Q&A for novel study!

Today I am going to be posting about a DLO thing that Jedi and I made for our novel study activity! Jedi is one of the coolest people ever, you should go check her blog out! Here is a link!  The book that we are reading is called 'My sister lives on the mantelpiece' which is a really cool book which you should read.  Jamie's sister, Rose was killed when 9/11 happened and Jasmine or Jas was her younger twin sister. She was only ten when this happened. Her dad burnt her remains and kept them in a urn that he put on a mantelpiece. Her mum wanted her to buried so they did both of it but her mum never actually went to the graveyard because it was too depressing.

Jamie who was a baby when this happened never really cried about Rose because he didn't really remember her. After that, his dad started drinking and his mum had an affair with someone else. On Jas' 15th birthday, she dyed her hair pink and pierced her nose. She also painted her nails black and wore black clothes. When she came home, they had an argument because she never asked anyone if she could or not.

They kept arguing when his mum just left and they moved to a different house in lake district which was far away from where their mum was now living. At Jamie's new school, he had to sit next to the only muslim girl at his school who's name was Sunya which he hated because his dad had
always said that they were all terrorists.

We did a video sharing our thoughts about the question based on the first few chapters but that didn't really work out so we did a quick animation of us sharing our thoughts. We did this on google slides, I hope you enjoy!

Today my blog post is going to be a DLO about Synonyms, Antonyms and Homophones! I have done this for blogging with my best friends, Jedi and Chloe. We were originally meant to do A DLO for our writing work but we hadn't finished it so we worked smarter not harder and finished during blogging and posted it for our blog post, smart aye?! We each picked something to teach and we did on google slides so its an animation! We had lost of fun making this but it was also hard too! Anyways, here is the animation, I hope you enjoy!

You may think that negative numbers are simple but do you know enough about them to solve equations with negative numbers? What is Fibonacci?

Today, my blog post is going to be a DLO about what the Fibonacci sequence is. Today we had to blog about something and I had already started to write this DLO but I hadn't finished it and I didn't really have anything to blog about so I decided that I was going to be finishing and blogging about it. I created this ona  canva but you can only download it as a PDF and you can't publish a PDF so I just took screenshots of it. You can Embed it but it takes a very long time so here is my work! How to write a quality comment!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!

Today my blog post is going to be teaching you how to write a quality comment. The reason why I am doing this is because some people don't know how to write a quality comment, (NO HATE) also because I don't really have anything to blog about. I decided that I was going to present it by using Venngage which I am sort of obsessed with so you should try venngage out because its a super cool website but you can only make 5 free ones and if you want to make more, you have to get the premium version. Anyways, back to blog post. I found this easy because when we had cybersmart, we learnt a lot about how to write a quality comment and we do commenting throughout the week too which is called Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu.
