don't worry the answer is 88 but what's the question?!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I am going to be completing my Home Learning Blog Post for this week. Since this week is the last week, then I have to do the only one that I haven't done which is this 'Don't Panic The Answer Is... The answer is 81 but what is the question? Be creative in the way that you come up with the answer. Come up with a creative way to share your answer. (Think outside the box, it doesn't have to be maths...)

If you have been checking my blog out, then you will know that I usually do it on Tuesday's which is why I am doing it today. Sometimes, I do it on Wednesday because sometimes I don't have time but today I do! I have presented my work on Google Slides and I was going to make it on Venngage but I had already made 5 so that's why I made some slides.

Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! I would like your thoughts about my 'Questions' or 'Theory's' because I want to see what you guys think but other than that, goodbye!
Challenge: Do something like me or come up with a crazy but possible 'Question' or Theory'!

Come and dine with me!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I am going to be completing my Home Learning Blog Post for this week and if you don't know, I usually do this on Tuesday but I was really busy and I didn't have time to do it yesterday, so I am going to be doing it today. For this week I have decided that I am going to be doing this activity! 'Come dine with me! You can invite 3 celebrities for dinner, who would you chose? Create 3 invitations inviting celebrities and explaining them why you would really want them to accept it. Think about what information needs to go in the invitation.'

I have made the invitations on google drawings and I have done them as the same because they all have the same reason why I wan to invite them. Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! Until next time, goodbye!
Challenge: If you could do the same thing, who would you invite and why?

Teaching my mum how to...

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I am going to be sharing you my Home Learning Activity that I have done for this week. For this week, we had to teach an adult in our family a math method that we have been learning. For this week, we have been learning fractions.

I have taught my mum and she did find it pretty challenging because she is learning english and she does know how to count and things but she didn't understand what I was doing at first.
I also found it a bit challenging because I tried to explain it as simple as possible but my mum still didn't understand it but after a while, she understood.
My Mum didn't want to be filmed and put online so I didn't really film the 'lesson'.
But now my mum knows how to solve fractions!

I hope you enjoyed my work, until next time, goodbye!
Challenge: Try to do the same thing that I have done and teach an adult in your family, something that you have been learning at school!

Reading activity!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I will be sharing my read work that I have done today! For reading, in my group, we have 2 books which are 'My Sister Lives On The Mantelpiece' and 'The Boy In The Stripped Pyjamas'. I am reading 'My Sister Live On The Mantelpiece' as some of you might know.

We have reading slides and we have to read the book and then answer and complete some activities depending on which chapter's you are reading. It isn't just 1 chapter because sometimes its 2 or 3.
There are some questions based on those chapters and then there are 3 activities that you have to compete too.

For some of them, you have to do it with a partner and some of them, you do it by yourselves. I am doing like a vocabulary one and I had t find 20 adjectives from chapters 19 and 20. I then had to put them in alphabetical order like I was meant to.

To present this in a creative way, I presented it on Venngage but you couldn't publish it or download it so I just took screenshots and added them into google slides.

Here is my work, if you have any questions, then please ask. Otherwise, until next time, goodbye!

A special Guest!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today we had an awesome guest come to our class whose name was...

Karyn Wilson! If you don't know who she is, she is an awesome author who writes picture books.
We had lots of fun going through the design process and just learning more about not only her
but also about how she published her books.

We even got to get a sneak peak of one of her new books that was going to be published next week!

She has written 2 books so far and her first one is called 'Kereru's bbq' and 'Peka and Koro friends of the forest'. She has even made her own website! Make sure to check it out!

Here is a google slides of her visit! I hope you enjoy, until next time, goodbye!

A Picture Paints A Thousand Words

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is Tuesday and I normally do my Home Learning Blog Post on Tuesday's and for this week I have decided that I would do this activity! 'A PICTURE PAINTS A THOUSAND WORDS  Use this picture to inspire your blog post.' Here is the photo!

I found this pretty challenging at first because I had absolutely no idea what I should write it about because I don't usually write things like that. Especially those types of photo's. But I have decided to write something short about this photo! Here it is, I hope you enjoy, until next time goodbye! Challenge: Try to do the same thing as me!

This photo is like an example of us. Some people think and act positive and then there are some who just the complete opposite. This picture shows us. Who we are and there are no in between. You are either the Left side or the Right side. The left side is grey and dull. It doesn't have any colour or happiness. Where as the other side has a rainbow and its full of colour. What are you, the left side or the right side, remember there are no in between...

Scary Trailer

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I am going to be blogging about a trailer that the Media Team had to make for this week.
We got to pick which type of trailer it would be like a scary or comedy or whatever but we picked
to do a scary one because it would be easier to make.

We were actually meant to make this like a week ago but we didn't enough time and didn't get to finish it but now we have and we want to share it with you. We did the filming and things in our reading recovery room and it did take quite a long time. I was filming and Mikael was in the video

We edited this video on WeVideo which an awesome editing website where you can edit and improve videos and clips. You should try it out! Here is the video, I hope you enjoy! We would like some feedback on what we could do better in the future if we do something like this again.

I've got a challenge for you! Make a trailer and try to make it SUPER creepy! Can you?
