In Kauri class, we went to the Groynes so that we could fish. It was around 9:30 when we had to go in cars so that we could go to the Groynes instead of going in a obstreperous/noisy bus. Lauren, Jedi, Billie and Went in Serah’s cars and when we got at the Groynes we did not know where we were going even though all the other cars were following us like we were playing follow the leader. When we got their we had to get some rods and also some shrimp so that we could put on the hook so that the fish could eat it. I went to some lakes and kept on changing because I did not get a fish. LAter when I used a spinner I nearly caught one but fish was too smart. Lots of minutes past which meant that we had to go back to school but before that, Peter and Emma had to clean the inside of the fish for the people that caught one. When I went to school I ate so much food because I was so famished/hungry.
Reading this, I can tell that you had a great time fishing, Parwin - because you know that it is called fishing and not catching.
ReplyDeleteI am greatly relieved that you did not have to travel on an obstreperous bus. I imagine that the only thing worse would be a cacophonous bus. Fishing is both a test of patience and a chance to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Catching a fish is a bonus. Did you enjoy fishing?
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your next blog post.
