Hey bloggers, I'm back!
We have started our home learning activities apart from reading and maths whizz that we have to do every night. But you have to do another activity that you can do anytime from Monday after school to Thursday afterschool. On our class site, they show activities that we can do. We have started doing this in term 5 I think and we need to do one of those activities and post them on our blog. Here is my activity that I did this week! Robotic Arm

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today my blog post is going to be about Richard who is Mrs Taylor's husband. Richard's arm got chopped off when he was 17 and he had a hook on for a long time. After some research, some really smart people invented a robotic arm and Richard was the first one in Christchurch to have one of those. Richard is getting used to using the robotic arm and is learning as he goes, something cool is that he has an app that can sort of control it and do cool hand signs like a rock and roll one and many other things. A funny story based on that was when he was trying out and shaking people's hands and he tried it Mrs Taylor but when he did it, it kept going tighter and then all of a sudden it just stopped working and they were stuck like that. How it works is there is this censor above his arm so when he moves a muscle, that kind of sends a signal to the robotic arm which makes it do as it is told. It has batteries and a charging place so he also has to charge it. Here are some photos! What we had to do was imagine ourselves if we were stranded on a desert island and we had 3 things that we could have and these are what I think I would have had if I was stranded! New Class Books!

Today my blog post is going to be about our new class books and yes I said BOOKS because we got tons of new different types of books! There are different types of stories there but I haven't read any of them yet, in fact nobody has. A book that I really want to read is Ice Garden because Mrs Taylor read the blurb and it sounded really interesting which makes me want to read the book. Home Learning Activitiy(＾▽＾)

Hey there bloggers, I'm back!
Today my blog post is going to be about our Home Learning. In Rimu, for our home learning we have to do Maths Whizz, 20 minutes reading and an activity from the site. There are 9 activities that we have to do but we can only do one each week and post it on our blog. We could do it any order and I didn't know which one to start with so I just did the first one. What we had to do was do a book report about a book that we just finished. At the moment, I am into Horrible histories because I find them interesting and I like the drawings as well. I also like Egyptian Mummies and stuff around it so when I found out that there was a Horrible Histories book about that, I decided that I should read. This is what I think about the book!

I decided to do something cool and see how to write my name in Egyptian letters and this is how it looks like. I was very curious this and wanted to find out which was why I did this. I hope you like my post, if you have any suggestions on how I can make my post better or any questions than please go ahead and ask!

Guys I tried finding it but I couldn't so I searched English to Egyptian and it came with English to Arabic. I couldn't find any symbols spelling my name and since Arabic is like Farsi, I wasn't really surprised. But this is how it looks like.. بروين
