Today is the second activity that I am doing today for the Spring Learning Journey which is sort of like a competition. There are 20 activities that you complete and for each one, you get 1 point but if you write a proper comment so that means including a positive, thoughtful and helpful, then you get 2 points. 

I am activity 13 which is where I have to decide whether I would never have cake or ice cream again. I have presented this on Canva which is a super cool website where you can create cool presentations, posters and many more so make sure to check it out!

What do I think about my family member's favorite foods?

Today is the 3rd day of the holidays and also the third day of the SPRING LEARNING JOURNEY! If you don't know what it is, its like something that we do over the holidays so that although we are having fun, our grades don't drop. There are some fun activities that you complete and for each activity you complete, that's 1 point and for each comment, you get 2 points.

Now, for today, the first activity that I am going to be doing is the 5th one which is where I have to interview my family members and then ask them about they're favorite foods. As a bonus, I have included my opinion on they're favorite foods and I have also included my favorite food as well!

Making my own meal!

Today is the second day of the Holidays and the second day for the Spring Learning Journey. Now, for this activity, we are meant to make a slideshow of us making a meal and instead of making a slideshow, I made a small video on how to make 'MY' type of macaroni or spaghetti. 

The quality of the camera is bad because I couldn't find my phone and I was in a rush so I had to use this other phone and the camera for that phone isn't that good so that's why the quality of the camera isn't that good but who cares about that?! 

While watching the video you might hear some whispering and that's just me practicing what to say and when to stop the video so excuse that because I did a voice over.  What is your favorite meal and can you make it? Here is the video, I hope you enjoy, until next time, goodbye!

Can I eat a full carrot in a minute?

Hey bloggers, I'm back!

Today, this will be my second Spring Learning Journey that I am doing and for this activity, I have to put a 1 minute timer, then I have to take  a photo of a carrot. I then have 1 minute to eat that carrot and see how much I can eat.

In the process of eating this, it was pretty hard because carrots aren't a very soft thing so it took a long time to chew so then I was able to to swallow it. I think I did a good job but maybe I can do better because I stopped for a couple of seconds and if I didn't then maybe I would of finish the carrot.

How To Make The Best Soup Ever!

Today is the first day if the holidays and also the first day of the spring learning journey, if you don't know what it is, it's where there are different activities that you can do to earn points ad compete with others and try to have the most points! Today I am going to be advertising a meal and how to make it. I have made this on google slides. Here it is! 

This is something that my mum always makes when someone is sick or when she doesn't have enough time to make something else because it doesn't take a long time to make this. Personally, I sort of like this because I'm not one of those people who like soup. In fact, I don't even like soup at all but this is probably my favorite soup. What Does Darth Vader Do On His Day Off?

Today I am going to be sharing my long write that I did on Tuesday. If you didn't know, we always have a long write on Tuesdays and usually the teachers have 2 topics which we pick and write about that. But we have to reach the word count and fill the success criteria too. We have 40 minutes to do this.

For this week, we had something a bit different because the topic for this week was to write a diary entry pretending to be Darth Vader. At first, I found this a bit challenging because, lets be honest, I'm not really a Star Wars person so I didn't know much about him but I just let my imagination run free and just write what comes to my mind.

I think that over all I did a pretty good job because I have written in 1st person and I think that I detailed everything very clearly but maybe next time I could maybe add some more similes and things to make my writing even better.

Some people think that when Villains are bad. Like all the time. But that isn’t true and it hurts my feelings when people think that I am always bad. 24/7. But they only say that because of what I do when I am on screen like when you are watching me. But did I pick to be bad? Did I have a choice. No. They needed a bad guy and I had trouble breathing which was a great thing for them so they made me the villian. Of course, I wouldn’t do these things in real life. Okay, maybe I would but just not as evil. 

BANG, BANG, BANG! That was the sound of how I was woken up .It was the sound of the noisy storm trooper. As usual, he didn’t know what to do and was now breaking the system so I had to get up and help him. It was about 7:30 in the morning when this happened. I usually wake up at 9. But thanks to the stormtrooper. Agh. So annoying. But I don’t always wake up at 9. That's when I have a day off like today. Where as on other days, I have a pretty tight schedule. (Light shining down on him. Lots of microphones in front of him. Dramatic music. In a dramatic voice.) But today was different. Today was the day that I was going to have my day off. Today was the day that I would relax. Today was the day… 
BANG, BANG, BANG. That was the storm trooper again except it was a different one who was just as dumb as the others. Had to help him too. 

I decided that I was going to be going and have some breakfast. But lucky me, there wasn’t any  Coffee left. (Very angry at this stage.) You may think that I am just overreacting but I am not. Because I have coffee every day. Every single day. But today, when I have my day off, they ain’t no coffee left for me. Seriously?! By now, I was very angry. Actually to be precise, very, very, very (Lots of very) angry. 
I wanted to get my lightsaber and just cut everything in my way. But I hadn’t bought that with me so I used the force to mess everything up. Now, my job there was done, I decided that I would go and a nice warm bath. But that was hard since we were in space and there was no gravity. But somehow, they have made that happen so I could take a comfy, cozy bath. It was just what I needed after what had happened.

I glide through the hallways and then I get myself a towel and walk towards the bath. I open the door and see a stormtrooper in the shower who was now trying to cover themselves. My day was bad enough, but this made it worse. Because the stormtroopers were not even aloud to be in my room. Or in my private spots like my bath having a bath. I turn around and close my eyes and the stormtrooper gets a bathrobe. Actually MY bathrobe and runs out. That’s when I thought to myself, this day could not get any worse but I was wrong because I didn’t know what was going to happen to me. 

I change my clothes and jump into the bath. I then turned the tap on. But nothing happened. I tried again. Still nothing happened. So I used the force but I used it a bit too much because now the whole tap came off and huge wave of cold water splashed on me giving me such a shock to make me bang my head on the bath. Rubbing my poor head, I then tried to stop the water but nothing happened. So I just shoved something to stop the water from leaking again and turned the whole bathroom into a swimming pool. I tried to get out but I then managed to slip but luckily, I held on to the towel rack and saved myself from having very bad brain injuries. 

Holes

Hey bloggers, I'm back!

Today I am going to be sharing you my Holes work that I have been doing for this term. How it works is our teacher read us a book while we eat our morning tea and we have to pay attention because the questions that we have to answer for reading are based on what we have read.

We only do Holes on Monday which means we have to finish everything in time. I am going to be sharing EVERYTHING that I have done this term. We have to answer the questions, vocab, write sentences for those words and then do an activity as well. At first, I found this a bit hard but I have learnt how to manage my time and I now finish everything in time while also completing them to a high standard.
