Invention or Discovery?

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is Wednesday and I usually do my Home Learning Blog Post's on Tuesday's but I was a bit
sick so I couldn't do it yesterday bu that's why I am doing it now. For this week I decided that I am going to be doing this activity! 'Invention Or Discovery  Is Maths an invention or a discovery? Brainstorm your thoughts. Add the thoughts of your friends and family members to your brainstorm as well then summarize your thoughts over all.'

I decided to present my thoughts and my younger brothers thoughts google slides. What do you think Maths is. An invention or a Discovery? Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! Until next time goodbye!

Interviewing Sunya and famous judge!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I am going to be showing one of reading activities that I did with the amazing Jedi. It didn't specifically say that we had to do an interview but we decided to do one since we were wanting to do one for a long time.

I was Sunya who is a friend of Jamie and Jedi was one of the judges for 'Britain's Greatest Talent Show' which Jasmine and Jamie went to. Jedi saw the wig and she wanted to be 'extra' but she couldn't get it so I got it and she wore the wig.

The process of making the video was easy except we forgot out lines or someone came and we had to restart it but I think that the end product was really cool. When I was getting interviewed, it was easy and quick but Jedi had to have her wig on properly.

Here is the video, I hope you enjoy! I would like some feedback on how I can make the video better!
Until next time, goodbye!

Do you agree with me?

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I am going to be blogging about my speech that I have written about Racism, criticism and judging others. Well those are the main topics anyways. We had to present last week on Wednesday and Thursday. A couple of people volunteered to go but I didn't because I felt nervous about presenting my speech.

Eventually, Mrs Spragg got the sticks which had our names on it and picked people out. I presented my one on Thursday and the reason why I wasn't wearing my school uniform was because it was muftiu day so yeah. I was really nervous but when I went up there are started my speech, I got more and more confident so I think I did a pretty good job.

On Monday, before writing, our teacher's announced who got in the finals and who would be presenting and I was one of them! Yay! But we have to present in front of the whole school on Thursday which is tomorrow! I am really excited and nervous at the same time.

Here is my speech written out AND a video of when I was presenting! I would like some feedback on what I could do so that when I present, I would be even better, until next time, goodbye!

Admit it, you have talked behind someone's back? I mean haven't we all? It’s not always negative when you talk behind someone's back. It could just be negative about themselves comparing themselves. Thinking that they are better than them. I know I have thought of that. And I’m sure you all have. But we should always and I mean always, be proud of who we are. Because no one else can be like us. Can they? Of course not. “When you see a person who has been given more than you in money & beauty then look at those who have been given less.” My name is Parwin and I believe that we should be able to do things without being judged. I have 3 main topics, Racism, Criticism and judging others.

Topic 1: Racism
If you don’t know what It means, it’s when you make fun of someone’s race or religion. For example, saying Muslims are terrorists or black people are lower than white. The thing I hate about this is because they’re lies. Because of this we have incidents happen such as the one that happened in march. Just because people used to think like that, doesn't mean we should. Just because one person or people say something doesn’t mean it’s true. Why can’t we live in a world we could live like brothers and sisters?

Topic 2- Criticism
Furthermore, there isn't only Racism but criticism. This is when you remind others of their mistakes in a bad way. Have you heard the saying, “We learn from our mistakes” and that we shouldn’t be afraid of making mistakes? But a lot of people just criticize others all the time. But why? Why do we have to do this? They always say that making mistakes is part of life but why do we do we criticize them? Sometimes, I don’t try new things because I'm afraid of making mistakes.

Topic 3- Judging others
In addition, have you realized how the people you judge would feel? How they would feel after you say these things in their faces? Have you ever thought of that? Before you act, think. Is it True, Is it Helpful, Is it inspiring, Is it necessary, and is it KInd? If its not, then what’s the point of saying it? According to google, 23.4 percent of people misjudged someone by their looks 2 or 3 times each month. 9.4 percent of people do this once a month, 17.4 percent of people do this 2 or 3 times each week and 4.7 percent of people do this everyday.

Without a doubt, we should never do these things. Being racist, criticizing someone or judging them by their looks. Some of you probably don’t even know how it feels. It's a feeling that your not wanted there. Its feeling that makes you feel like doing bad things to yourselves. It’s a feeling where you question yourself why you had to end up unlucky. But It’s not too late so we can make a difference. Thank you for listening to my speech.

Movie of my life!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is Tuesday and I am going to be uploading my home learning blog. For this week, I have chosen that I will do this activity! 'MOVIE TIME! If a movie was made in your life in your house, what would it be called? Why? Which actors and actresses do you want to be in it? Create a Movie Poster to share this information!'

I think that I wouldn’t want any actors or actresses because they can’t act perfectly like my family. I also don’t want the movie to be based on lies because I want it to be what happens everyday in my life. I would rather have my actually family in their instead or other actors or actresses. The reason I want my family is because no one can act like them and this movie is about my life and I don’t have famous actors and actresses as my parents because I have already got awesome parents along with an awesome family.

I have decided that I would do mine on Google Drawings, here it is. I hope you enjoy! If you were to make a movie of your life, what would it be called which actors and actresses would you want in it?
Until next time, goodbye!

Animaker Or Animation?!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today, my blog post is going to be a bit different from I usually post because I am going to be blogging
about an animation that I made on animaker for the Media Team. I was actually meant to
finish this some weeks before but I didn't have the time to so that's why I am doing it now! We had to make an animaker just sort of introducing ourselves. We had done this before except that was a video and now we had to do an animation.

I found this sort of challenging because I am not the type of person that uses animaker so that was sort of tricky. The reason I found this tricky was because I hadn't used Animaker before but after some playing around, I sort of got the hang of it. I was actually meant to do this a week or so ago but I didn't have time and forgot about it.

I am also a PNG image! No, seriously, I am. Miss Morgan showed us this website and its called Remove Bg which get images and crops the background. It doesn't have to be people, like it could be objects and then you can download that image for free!

What do you think? I think that the animation is pretty cool since I didn't really use Animaker before that. I had used it once but that was it. Here is my work! If you have any suggestions on how I could
improve, then please do! I am no expert with Animaker! Have you used Animaker? Why don't you try doing something like I did! I hope you enjoy, until next time goodbye!

Back Or Forth?

Hey blogger's, I'm back!
Today is Wednesday and even though I usually do my Home Learning Blog Post's on Tuesday, I forgot so I am doing it today.  I also didn't have much time either which is why I didn't do it.The activity which I will be doing says 'If you could travel in Dr Who's Tardis, where and when would you go? (remember you can go backwards or forwards in time!)'. I have explained my thoughts and idea's on Bitable which was one of the suggestions. If you could do the same thing as me, what would you do? Here is my work, I hope you enjoy, until next time, goodbye!

We're making a dress! But how?!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
I am going to be blogging about a dress that Jedi, Chloe and I are making. Its like a high low dress and today is the second day that we have made it. Jedi bought some fabric and I cut the skirt. How exactly do you cut a skirt? Do you cut it straight? Well, what I did was I folded the fabric and then I measured Jedi's waist because the measurements are based on her because she is going to wear it. Then I cut the fabric for the waist, cut the actual skirt which was successful and actually worked.

After that, I had to sew it with my hands because we didn't bring an actual sewing machine so we did it like that. It took a while and that was my time spent making the skirt. At the end, it turned really well except you could see the stitches from the other side so we are going to put a lace or ribbon to hide that.  Chloe, made the accessories which are made out of wire. It has a head piece and everything with shapes at the end.

Jedi was making the top of the dress. She accidentally forgot to fold it so that sort of failed but then in the end, it worked out well because she just had to trace it again and cut it again. That was what we did yesterday. Today, we tried sewing this green thing on the stitched part so that it would be hidden. That worked but it took a long time and you could see the stitches so what we did was try to glue it with PVA but that didn't' worked either. So we need to think about that.

Here is the picture of our plan that we did and a time lapse which we ended before we got to finish.
What do you think? I hope you enjoy! I would like some feedback so that we could improve the dress!

Snipfire the dragon!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I will be showing you a dragon that I have found while I was looking for some very unique berries. Just kidding, But I did make the dragon myself without using images to copy. Why did I do this you ask? I did this because it was part of my writing that we did last term on our non-chronological reports. I have already written something like this which was an invention which we created.

First we watched an episode of Dragons Edge. Then we went on a website where we (sort of) just had a look around and found some places and different types of dragons that we would like to base our
dragons on. After that, the next day, we had to design our own dragons without using any photos for tracing. My dragon turned out way different from what I wanted it to be like but I am happy with it.

After that, we had to write a non-chronological report about out dragons. I found this sort of tricky because we had to write in 3rd person making sure we didn't use 'I, me, my', those types of words.
After we had finished it and had it checked, we then got to present it. Some people presented it on Canva, Slides and many other creative websites. I picked Visme to present my work. Here it is! I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions then please ask! Until next time, goodbye!

Something different...

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I have a different blog post from what I usually do because I sort of got inspired by Mrs Taylor who is one of my teachers. She posted something new on our class blog which you check out! Here is a link! She showed this to us just before we had to go and do a blog post.

That is why I decided that I would do something SUPER different from what I usually do. Can you guess? Well I am going to be doing a google forms test to see how well you know me! I don't actually know how I came up with this because I wanted to try something new and I don't really use google forms but then I wondered what it should be about and just did it about myself.

Each one you get right is 5 points and you get a total of 85 points if I have calculated t right. If you tick all of them, then it doesn't count!

I hope you enjoy! What did you get?

My Sister Lives On The Mantelpiece

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is Tuesday and what happens on a Tuesday? Well, I do my home learning blog post. For this week, we had to write a book review for a book that we have recently made. The book that I have read is called 'My Sister Lives On The Mantelpiece' written by Annabel Pitcher.

This book is actually my Novel Study Book. The story is about a boy named Jamie who used to have 2 sisters. Now he has one because one her sisters got killed in the 9/11 attack. From then on, there parents started blaming each other for that and now they have broken up not just because of that but because Jamie's mother had an affair with someone else. Jamie's dad then bought a new house in Lake District that's far away from London. Jamie's father hates Muslim's but at Jamie's new school, he has to sit next to a the only Muslim in the school. It's a really cool book which I think that you should read!

Here are my thoughts about the book! I hope you enjoy!

I think that the book is very well written and has caught the attention of the readers in the first couple of chapters. The book itself was very sad at the end and made me cry. I liked the fat that the author had made the story realistic and the choice of words that they chose. In the book, instead of having speech marks, when someone talks they make the writing go like this. In a sort of diagonal way. I sort of didn’t like the parts where the dad had hated Muslims and everything and found it very offending the fact that he thought just because some people did do something wrong, they think that everyone else is like that but apart from that, the book was nice and I recommend you to read it!Image result for thanks for watching gif png

Q&A for novel study!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today I am going to be posting about a DLO thing that Jedi and I made for our novel study activity! Jedi is one of the coolest people ever, you should go check her blog out! Here is a link!  The book that we are reading is called 'My sister lives on the mantelpiece' which is a really cool book which you should read.  Jamie's sister, Rose was killed when 9/11 happened and Jasmine or Jas was her younger twin sister. She was only ten when this happened. Her dad burnt her remains and kept them in a urn that he put on a mantelpiece. Her mum wanted her to buried so they did both of it but her mum never actually went to the graveyard because it was too depressing.

Jamie who was a baby when this happened never really cried about Rose because he didn't really remember her. After that, his dad started drinking and his mum had an affair with someone else. On Jas' 15th birthday, she dyed her hair pink and pierced her nose. She also painted her nails black and wore black clothes. When she came home, they had an argument because she never asked anyone if she could or not.

They kept arguing when his mum just left and they moved to a different house in lake district which was far away from where their mum was now living. At Jamie's new school, he had to sit next to the only muslim girl at his school who's name was Sunya which he hated because his dad had
always said that they were all terrorists.

We did a video sharing our thoughts about the question based on the first few chapters but that didn't really work out so we did a quick animation of us sharing our thoughts. We did this on google slides, I hope you enjoy!
