Hello Bloggers, I'm back!
This week is a pretty special week for us because this week is Hooked On Books! In our class, each day, we have a new book which are different types of books. On Monday, we got a book called 'The List'. The story was very intriguing and was most likely set in the Past. The story was about how the only safe place was the place where they were and the Mayor or something, would start to get rid of some words. There used to be 700 but now there was 500. She was left on a hard decision to make, run away with someone she never knew or stay quietly even though she wanted to do something.

Then we had out second book which was called 'The Boy Who Flew'. The books were pretty similar in some ways but then also very different as well. The book started off with a Boy who was helping an old man make an invention that they had been making. He was very old and they tried an experiment which I think was trying to make a fan or something but it didn't work and broke some of the glass panes. He then gave 4 gold coins and the boy said that he didn't owe that much, but he said that he might need it. That's when the teacher stopped but on the back, it had said that the old man, his friend, got murdered.
The third book, for today was called 'Charlie and the war against Grannies'. So far I think this might be my favourite book because it is the funniest and makes me laugh a lot as well. It was basically about a boy named Charlie and his parents were always on their phone so they never talked to each other for 3 years! He then decides that he wants to do the newspaper run or whatever its called so he went to the newsagents but when he said that, the news agent ran out of the shops! He decided he would ask who ever was handing the news paper so he and his friend waited and they saw grannies Grannies were doing the paper run!
