Should we have Homework?

Hey bloggers, I'm back!

Today I Tuesday and I am going to be blogging about my Home Learning Activity that I have done for this week. I usually do it on Mondays, and I did complete it but I just didn't post it though. What we have to do for our Homework for each week is that we have to complete a Home Learning Activity which we find from our class site and we also do 10 minutes or more of Maths Whizz.

For this week, I have decided to do this activity 'Small Persuasive Speech, on why we shouldn't have homework and film yourself saying it!' I did film it but the speech was too long and wouldn't upload to my drive or onto blogger which was annoying. I guess that I just have to share my speech that I wrote.

Something I found challenging was finding the facts and especially when I searched up who had made homework and it came up with everything so I search about his birth and death. It said the dates and the reason why it confused me was because one of the dates was 1 year after he was born which means when he was one. The other one was many years after his death. Doesn't make sense to me.

Here is my speech I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions then please ask! Otherwise, until next time, goodbye!

HERE IS MY SPEECH! HOPE YOU ENJOY!

Are you sick and tired of doing Homework every day? Honestly, sometimes I don’t mind doing Homework and all but sometimes, I get a bit sick of doing it. Hello, my name is Parwin and I think that we should have Homework, but not too much. Now, first of all, who invented Homework? I mean, we have to go to school, every weekday and for 6 hours, then we have to come home and do some work! Well, according to google, Roberto Nevilis invented Homework and he was from Italy. He was born in 1904 and died in 1954. He also invented Homework in 1995 or 1905 which doesn’t make sense because if he had invented it in 1995, which he couldn't, unless, it was his soul or ghost. And if he did it in 1905, he would have been one, I don’t think he invented when he was 1 because, no that doesn’t make sense. Anyways, I have some reasons why we should have homework, but not too much!

Reason Number One-
As I had said before, we go to school for 6 hours a day but then teachers make us do homework. Now, sometimes, homework is fun and I agree with that but somethings aren’t fun though. For example, having to write a 1 page essay about a historical person that you haven’t even met. I mean, what if those things weren’t even true about that person in the first place. That compared to doing some fun things like the things that I get to do. What I do 10 mins or more of Maths Whizz and pick an activity which I find from my class site.

Reason Number Two-
Okay, now what does Homework actually do? Well, it encourages us to complete tasks independently and I think that it is good because what it does to us is good. We also learn new things, like I learnt this fact as well and I am writing this for my homework. I saw this thing and it said why do we need homework and it have some things like Music- YouTube,  Sport- WiFi,
Spanish- Dora, English- Everything, Math- That’s why we have calculators, Geography- I’ll buy a globe, History- They’re all dead anyway. This sort of made me laugh.

Have you agreed with me? If I were honest, my speech was going to be about why we shouldn’t have Homework but not that I think about and searched some things up, I then changed my mind. What do you think? Do you agree with me? I think that we should have Homework, but just not too much. What do you think? Should we have no homework or should we have homework but not too much?
