Pet day!

Hey there bloggers!
We had our pet day which is where you bring your pet, soft toy or a pet rock to school. They get judged in the afternoon by either the student's or adults or sometimes both. In the morning we make a Sand Saucer or a Veggie sculpture. I made a Sand Saucer with my amazing friend Jedi and we made a Zen garden which kind of looks like this!
We tried making that kind of Zen garden and instead of using white sand which is probably what they used, we used salt! I know, it was a smart idea but we had to use lot's of salt. First, we got a little bit of sand from the sand pit because we only need half the the plate with sand and then after, we shaped the sand and pick stones on the edges of it. We then added some salt on the other half and then we got some decorations and decorated it! It looked pretty good in the end, this is how our one looked like!
After we did that, we got sticks from outside for our hobby horse race and then we drew horse heads for them but later on, we realized that we couldn't use sticks even if they have a super cool horse head on them! (◕︿◕✿)

After break time we came inside and ate our food while listening to a story, then we would have carried on with our work but since it was pet day we didn't. Instead we went outside and watched some dogs making ducks go in these cage thingies. I think it was pretty mean because it looked like the dog bit the duck, which it might have because you never know! I felt bad for the ducks so I didn't watch most of it. Some kids then asked some questions and so did I. I asked if the ducks had names but they didn't but the dogs name was D. So I told my friend Jedi that maybe he could call the other 3 ducks A, B and C!
I know I'm hilarious. After that we had our Hobby horse races!

All the kids went one by one from each class, there were a few people from my class who also did the same and made a hobby horse out of a stick and stuck a head to it like me. We were sad that we couldn't do but that didn't really matter that much now. There were only 2 kids from our class that brought a hobby horse from home and they were Sam and Rhys. Once they had all gone, we watched a sheep get sheared because shearing is caring! That was hilarious. The sheep kind of smelt when the wool was taken off and he had a lot of wool actually.

I think after that we went inside to our classrooms and carried on with our work until lunch time. The PTA kindly gave sausages for lunch and they were for free but I didn't get one because they had por in it which I ma not allowed to have. Most of the kids got a sausage or 2 or maybe even 3 but after that, we went inside and packed our classroom up. At 1:00 we went outside and had our Agri sports which include gumboot throwing sack races and more. We go in our house colours but we would be slit into 2 teams and I was in E2 which stands for Eadgar 2.

My favourite Agri Sports activity was probably the sack races because it was fun jumping around and trying not to fall. But it was also kind of funny when they fall over because when they get close to tagging the next person, they just tag them and fall over on purpose.

We had our afternoon break and then there were the pet judging and I mean the real live pets which they brought in that time. I judged the guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and other animals which I couldn't remember. I was going to judge them and Jedi was going to help me do that but turns out that Constable Brad was going to help me do that. We finished them quickly and then I played with my friends.

We then had our parade which is where you have a real pet and walk it around while the others that didn't have a pet stand on the outside and watch them. I didn't have a real pet but we got Mikael and we pretended that he was our pet dog and surprisingly nobody realized anything either! It was really funny!

It was then home time or the time where you buy things from the Bake Sale but I didn't bring any money with me because I forgot so instead, I played around until it was time to go home! What a busy day!
