Summer Learning journey-Day 2-Activities

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
As I said in the previous blog post, the summer Learning Journey is something you do in the holidays. Usually when kids go off to holidays, they forget about everything and play but they don't realize that they are forgetting lot's of the things that they have learnt form when they were at school. But thanks to the Summer Learning Journey, this improves our reading and writing. This is day 2 of the summer learning journey and here are the activities that we had to do!
Here is the 2nd activity!
Bonus activity!

  1. Hi Parwin!

Another fantastic blog post! Well done for getting stuck into the activities so quickly :)

Fair enough - giant trees aren't everybody's cup of tea. What kinds of things do interest you? I was in Queenstown last week and the mountains and lakes there are amazing! Have you been before?

I think the Tall Ferns uniform is a good choice. I play netball and we have to wear dresses similar to the Silver Ferns uniform, but I think being able to play in shorts would be much more comfortable. Do you play any sports? Or do you have a favourite sport to watch?

Well done on effectively using a multiplication strategy! And thank you for sharing what you did, step by step, so I could follow along.

    Talk soon,

    Mikey

  2. Hey Parwin!

Of course you know who I am, I mean who doesn't! ( Its me Jedi your BFF)'.
This post is so amazing! Squee! I really love all the Gifs you have put in your cactus slide. Especially the last one, it's kinda cute. I also agree with Mikey on the fact that you got into it straight away. You even bet me to it, 🤣. Great job on every activity you have completed. I know you are a genius when it comes to math.

I also have to agree with you about the Tall ferns. Mainly because yup, you guessed it. They play basketball! My second fav sport ( After Rugby). But enough about me.
And I would also struggle to answer that question about Tāne Mahuta, but I have read about. I heard that it would take just over six grown man, to hold hands and stand around the tree. Amazing isn't it!

Well keep up the great work, I better start my next post.
    C ya
