Should we reconsider eating insects?

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is the 7th day of the holidays and the Spring Learning Journey. If you haven't been keeping up with my awesome posts, then you won't know about the Spring Learning Journey. What the Spring Learning Journey is, is basically some activities that we complete over the school holidays to earn points. Every activity you complete is 1 point and each comment is 2 points. The reason why we have his is so that our learning doesn't drop down when we go and have fun. Not only that, but when the holidays are over, your points get added up and if you put lots of effort then you might become 1st, 2nd or 3rd. If you didn't finish everything and did at least 6 activities, then you still get a prize too.

For today, well actually tonight, I have decided that I am going to be doing activity 20 which is where I have to read an article about edible insects, study some more and say whether I agree with that idea or disagree. Here is a link to the article so that you can read it too! I have presented my opinion on Piktochart which is a cool website where you can create beautiful presentations, posters and much more!

Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions then please ask, otherwise until next time goodbye!

Question: Do you agree or disagree with the idea of eating insects?

  1. Hi Parwin,

This was an interesting argument for why we might consider not eating insects. The protein thing is interesting. I don't really eat meat either and so it is good to know there are other sources of protein (and much better for us if it is from plants).

I think you are doing an incredible job with your Spring Learning Journey posts. I have noticed that you are pasting in the same start on every post, I wonder if you could switch it up a little? The different ways you present the information is creative and clear. I've enjoyed reading them all.

    Keep up the great work,
    Mrs Spragg
