The South Korean menu!

Hey Bloggers, I'm back!
Today is the 7th day of the holidays and also the Spring Learning Journey as well. if you don't know what the Spring Learning Journey is, its where you complete activities to earn points during the holidays. Each activity you complete is 1 point and each comment you write is 2 points. The reason why we have this is that so while we are out there having fun, we aren't forgetting everything and we are also learning something/s new everyday!

I have decided to do activity 7 which was where I had to pick a country and study their menu basically. I just picked South Korea by random and just studied their menu I guess. And honestly, I was pretty surprised by some of the things they had. I did some research and then separated them into 3 parts, breakfast, lunch and dinner. After that, I then put the information that I found on google slides.

Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions then please ask, otherwise until next time goodbye!

Question: Have you tried any of those things and did you like them? If you haven't tried any of them then is there something that you want to try?

Should we reconsider eating insects?

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is the 7th day of the holidays and the Spring Learning Journey. If you haven't been keeping up with my awesome posts, then you won't know about the Spring Learning Journey. What the Spring Learning Journey is, is basically some activities that we complete over the school holidays to earn points. Every activity you complete is 1 point and each comment is 2 points. The reason why we have his is so that our learning doesn't drop down when we go and have fun. Not only that, but when the holidays are over, your points get added up and if you put lots of effort then you might become 1st, 2nd or 3rd. If you didn't finish everything and did at least 6 activities, then you still get a prize too.

For today, well actually tonight, I have decided that I am going to be doing activity 20 which is where I have to read an article about edible insects, study some more and say whether I agree with that idea or disagree. Here is a link to the article so that you can read it too! I have presented my opinion on Piktochart which is a cool website where you can create beautiful presentations, posters and much more!

Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions then please ask, otherwise until next time goodbye!

Question: Do you agree or disagree with the idea of eating insects?

Ice cream to ice cream sundae's!

Hey Bloggers, I'm back!
Today is still the 6th day of not only the holidays but also the Spring Learning Journey. If you haven't been keeping up with other blog posts that I have been doing, then you won't know what the Spring Learning Journey is so I will explain what it is. The Spring Learning Journey is where we complete activities to earn points as well as comment on other people's blogs. When the holidays are over, the competition is over and then you r teachers announce who the winners are for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. But if you participated and did at least 6 activities, then you also get a prize as well.

Now, for today, I am going to be showing you what I did for activity 19 which is where we have to make our own restaurant, cafe or food shop I guess. Any way, I sort of like made a ice cream shop where you can only get ice cream. Here is a photo of the store that I made which took a long time. Everything is a different shade of pink and blue. We also had to make a menu but you can design your own ice cream. There are ice cream flavors that you can pick from, cones, bowels, toppings and much more.

Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions then please ask, otherwise, until next time goodbye!

4 different maths questions!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is like the 3rd activity that I have done today because I didn't do any activities yesterday since I didn't have any time. If you haven't been tuning in then you won't know what I am talking about and you might be confused so I will explain. I am doing these activities for something called Spring Learning Journey which is where we complete activities and comment on other blogs to earn points. These points then get added up and then you either come 1st, 2nd or 3rd. If you do more than 6 activities, then you get like a small prize as well as a certificate too.

Now, today I am going to be blogging about activity number 12 which is where I have to make 4 different maths questions. I have done this on google slides and my first 3 questions are sort of based on the same story but you still have to answer those questions. I would like you to share you answers in the comments below!

I would like some feedback on how I can make my blog better, thanks!

Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions then please ask, otherwise until next time, goodbye!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is the 6th day of not only the Spring Learning Journey but also the holidays! Now, if you haven't been checking my blog out lately then I will explain what the Spring Learning Journey is. It's a thing where we do activities comment on others blogs as well as earn points. But what this does is it sort of helps us remember everything that we learnt and not forget the things that we learnt.
There will be 3 winners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd. But not only that, if you do 6 activities or more, then you will still get a small prize as well.

Now, for today, I am going to be blogging about activity number 14! This is where we have to comment on 3 other students blogs. I have chosen the 3 students that I first commented on which were Alan, Renae and Grace. Be sure to check their blogs out.

I cant take a screenshot on this computer so I'm just going to copy and paste the comments that I've written. Here they are, I hope you enjoy, If you have any questions then please ask! Otherwise, until next time, goodbye!

Alan
Hey Alan, its me Parwin, I see that you are also doing the Spring Learning Journey like me, challenge is on!

I'm looking at the list and Most of these things I haven't tried, I have only tried Blueberry and I think that is it. For me, Buddha's Hand sounds very interesting so I might do some Buddha's Hand so I am going to some research about that as well!

Seems like we have a lot in common because I have never tried any of those things except the blueberries which I think I have only tried once or twice but no more than that. It has been so long that I don't even remember how it tastes like!

I think that to improve, you could maybe present your work in a more exciting way like maybe adding some pictures of what some of them look like or maybe just using a website to present it to make it even better.

Awesome work!

Looking forward to your next posts,
Parwin

Renae

Hey Renae, its me Parwin. I see you are doing the Spring Learning Journey like me, the challenge is on!

I really liked the list of healthy foods that you haven't tried because you have added lots of colour and most of them sort of shocked me because I always eat tomatoes, capsicums, eggplant and cucumber! Cucumber is like the best thing ever and you haven't tried it! Just kidding but it is really nice and I recommend you try it. Trust me, it delicious!

While reading your blog post, this sort of reminds me of when I first tried mushroom on Pizza and I didn't even realize that it had any mushrooms because it honestly did not taste like anything at all!

I think to improve, you should just go through your blog post and proof read because you have some errors and mistakes in there but other than that, great job!

Awesome work!

Looking forward to your next posts,
Parwin

Grace

Hey Grace, it's me Parwin! I see you are also doing the Spring Learning Journey, the challenge is on!

I really liked your slide show and your blog post because you included a lot of information and I too agree with you that most of those sound weird and posh for some reason. I have never tried any of those foods before so I am like you!

I have seen some of the those foods and but I have never tried any of those, although I do want to try some of them. Today, I saw Kohlrabi but it was the purple colour one. It looked like someone cut it to make it turn into a Rose or something.

I think that you did a great job and I don't think there is something you can improve on but if you have anything in mind, then improve that!

Awesome work!

Looking forward to your next posts,
Parwin

10 healthy foods that I haven't tried!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is the 6th day of the holidays and the Spring Learning Journey. If you don't know what it is, it's like going on a little educational journey over the holidays and the reason why we have this is so when we go and have lots of fun in the holidays, we don't forget the things that we have learnt. This isn't the first one because last term we had the Winter Learning Journey, we also have the Summer Learning Journey as well.

For this term, the topic is food! And I am an expert at that! I have decided to do activity number 1 which is where we have to present 10 healthy foods that we haven't tried. I have presented my work on Piktochart which is a really cool website where you can create cool presentations, info graphics and many more!

Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions then please ask, otherwise, until next time goodbye!

Naming foods in alphabetical order!

Hey bloggers, I'm back!
Today is the 5th day of the Spring Learning Journey AND the 4th day of the holidays. If you don't know what the Spring Learning Journey is, its like these activities that we complete over the holidays to earn points and its not just that because when there isn't any school, we don't really study and forget most of the things that we have learnt but when we do the Spring Learning Journey, we stay the same through out the holidays.

Now, for today, I am going to be doing activity 9 which is name foods in alphabetical order. Now, as you know, this was pretty challenging because who can think of a food that begins with X?! Now, I'm being honest, I did do some research because I couldn't think of some foods that begin with those letters like X and V!

But after some time, I finally finished! I decided to do it simply and just do it on Google Sides.
Here is my work, I hope you enjoy! If you have any questions then please ask, otherwise, goodbye!

Challenge: Can you think of a food that begins with V but different from what I did. Also, do you think Vinegar is counted as food because it says it is, what do you think?
